Jazz Gunung Bromo is ethnic jazz performed at an open stage with a sky roof and the Bromo area as its background. A harmonious blend of music, nature, and culture. This year the music event is held at 18 and 19 August, the 8th edition.
Java's mountains and volcanoes have become a symbol of indigenous culture. It is also different experience to celebrate Indonesia's independence - 17 August 1945.

At this moment the listed performers are Paul McCandless with Charged Particles from the USA, Monita Tahalea, Dewa Budjana Zentaury, Sri Hanuraga feat Dira Sugandi, Surabaya All Stars, Maliq & D'Essentials, Ring of Fire Project, Sono Seni Ensemble.
On the 18th of August the programme starts at 16.30 and on the 19th of August around 16.00.

The founders
Jazz gunung Bromo was founded by three people. Sigit Pramono is a banker and a photographer who loves Bromo and jazz music. Butet Kartaredjasa and Djadauk Ferianto are versatile artists who are often invited to perform in countries all around the world.
